mccoy laughed today!

i was reading him "baby bear, baby bear, what do you see?" and he got so excited, he was actually giggling...i tried to get it in these pictures how cute he was.

labor day walk

we headed to gulley park for an early morning walk...
the stroller is just the right size for burt :)

he is definitely all buckled in...i love these outfits with hoods but i'm never quite sure of what to do with the it once he's in the car seat!

on labor day, mccoy's cousins came to visit...burt's sister, mandy, and her family usually come up to the lakehouse to spend some time on the lake...saturday, we went over there to watch the hogs on tv (notice mccoy's appropriate attire)...drew was so excited about holding mccoy...i thought he did a pretty good job.austin...8 and drew...4

date night

almost every friday or saturday night, we try to have date night...of course, now that consists of the three of us and we usually go around 5:30, but we always have a good time...right now, mccoy typically sleeps through the dinner, but we know those days will come to an end sooner than later, so we are trying to take full advantage! this shirt says "mr. mouthy" and at night, he definitely is...mccoy is much more of a morning baby...he plays and laughs and at night, it's the exact opposite. but as burt and i say to each other during these times "he's just a baby!"

hot springs weekend

burt, mccoy and i went down to hot springs for our first road trip. he did really well on the way down and actually slept the whole way back. i don't think he left my mom or dad's arms the whole time. mandy and michael piechocki and josh and traci earnhart went with us
but i can't seem to find any pictures...i guess cause mccoy wasn't in them since we were on the lake or maybe it's because i'm a new mom and we don't need pictures in a bathing suit posted on the internet!

this was my last day to stay home with mccoy before i went to work...

so we stayed in our pjs all day long

mccoy and his good friend, liam, went to eat pizza the other week at guido's...you can tell how excited they are...maybe they are just waiting for damngood pies to open up!
